My Background and Approach
I am infinitely fascinated by life and the human experience. Who are we? Why are we here? Why does this person feel this way, and that person that way, and me something else entirely? How do we do life well and enjoy it ? How can I make this even more fun ??
These questions drive me and bring me so much joy. I have formally studied the science of psychology, tutored in the experiencial, wild-west world of personal-development, and gone through the spiritual fires of my own soul's overhaul (a couple of times) within ancient wisdom practices. What I've learned is that while every method and modality had something really valuable to offer, no single approach revealed all the answers to what makes us tick or what makes life worth living. That's probably a lot to ask, but I might have settled for at least a pathway to finding all the answers. To see the whole picture, we have to approach it from multiple vantage points. We have to be able to balance the clarity of knowledge with the unknowingness of wisdom. We need a balance of science and heart to reach wholeness.
My purpose, and the purpose of this business, is to temper science and heart (and a little bit of my own magic) into experiences and resources that help people know, own, and be their full potential - their authentic selves - their wholeness.
I fundamentally believe that people are not broken, but whole, capable, and so worthy of being their unique selves and living the life they really, truly want. We almost always need support and new resources if we want to grow beyond our comfort zones - whether that's a great book, some new tools, a weekend retreat - or a coach, and I love that I get to give support in this way.

History
In 2011, I co-founded Authentic NC with my husband and team - a community for authentic relating and circling (AR+C). AR+C is a group practice that uses the lens of relationship for self development and self-development as tool for building connection. I served as a lead facilitator and course designer, as well as, the women's team lead for the Authentic Man Program events in NC - and subsequently, pillared the establishment of Authentic East along with leaders in NYC, Philly, and Washington DC to host and facilitate events up and down the east coast.
In 2016, I turned the principles of Authentic Relating and the practical methods of Circling into a one on one coaching practice. In 2019, I started a bachelor's degree program in psychology in order to explore therapy as a new career path, but ultimately, I decided to stick with coaching. I have recently earned a Certification in Applied Positive Psychology, and I am on track to earn a Level 2 coaching credential with the International Coaching Federation in fall '24.

Psychosomatics, Somatic Experiencing, and Embodied Experiencing
Parts work
Mindfulness, meditation, and spirituality
The Enneagram
Non-Violent Communication
My list of influences would be woefully incomplete without the mention of my own coach, Sarah Entrup. I've learned most of what I know about embodied experiencing, spirituality practices, and parts work from her incredible guidance over the last ten years.

I have a strong dislike for shoe shopping. But I love shopping for clothes.

I love art, and have spent six full days in the Louvre (and I still haven't seen it all).
